We supply everything you need for a successful fishing trip, whether you are going out for a trip with friends or family, or getting needed time to yourself. Just bring your favorite fishing pole and yourself – don’t worry about the rest. We’ve got you covered.

Head of the Lakes Resort provides:

  • Bait & Tackle – Wax worms, night crawlers, leaf worms, leeches, minnows, spearing decoys, fishing tackle, and basic fishing supplies.
  • Fish Cleaning Shack – clean your fish and let us dispose of the rest.

Boat Rentals

Boating on a beautiful lake is what some dreams are made of. Feeling the cool breeze coming off the lake on a hot summer day, spending time with family and friends, fishing, swimming, and making lifelong memories… what are summers for? Experience for yourself the joys of being on Lake Osakis or Little Osakis. All boat rentals come with Life Jackets, Oars, Fishing Nets, and Anchors.

14′ Boat & Motor Rental: ½ Day Rate $40, Daily Rate $60, Weekly Rate $250, Weekly Rate w/Cabin Rental $150.

16′ Boat & Motor Rental: ½ Day Rate $60, Daily Rate $100, Weekly Rate $350, Weekly Rate w/Cabin Rental $250.

20’ Deluxe Fishing Pontoon (8 Person Capacity): ½ Day Rate $125, Daily Rate $225, Weekly Rate $750, Weekly Rate w/Cabin Rental $550.

22’ Deluxe Fishing Pontoon (10 Person Capacity): ½ Day Rate $150, Daily Rate $250, Weekly Rate $850, Weekly Rate w/Cabin Rental $650.

Head of the Lakes Resort also sells Gas (premium & unleaded) on location with dockside service available to boats already on the water. 

*No Paddleboat rental

* Customer pay for gas they use while watercraft are rented.

Head of the Lakes Resort has a whole bunch of accessories to keep the whole family entertained for hours on end, while making memories that will last a whole lot longer. At our family-friendly resort, you can expect to find:

Horseshoe Pit – Sandy horseshoe pit with horseshoes available. Who has the best arm with the best aim?

Volleyball Court – Don’t forget to bring your volleyball and your best game skills!

Swimming Area – gradual slopes for swimmers of all ages and stages of swimming abilities (no lifeguard on duty)

Sandy Beach – sun tanning platform with lounge chairs are provided.

Rainbow Playground – perfect for little ones that have a need to climb, slide, swing, jump, and play!

Game Room – Located inside the Lodge itself, current games consist of a pool table, Big Buck Hunter, Ms Pac Man, Stacker, and 2 different crane games, in addition to a touch Tunes Machine for great music.

Restaurant & Bar  – perfect for those family meals or getting together with friends after a long day of enjoying everything nature has to offer. Open year-round, 7 days a week.
