ICE FISHING / WINTER
At Head of the Lakes Resort, we enjoy life on the lake even when the water is frozen, and the snow is waist deep. Pull away from the hecticness of life, and come enjoy some quiet ice fishing. Bring your own fish house, or let us handle the hassle!
Your no-frills 8’x16’ fish house comes with all the standard equipment for the serious ice fisherman –
- 4 plywood bunks
- 8 holes
- Gas heat
- Rattle wheels (line not included)
- Card table and chairs
- 12-volt electric lights (battery not included.)
Bring your lucky fishing poles and bait, or check out our selection of fishing tackle and gear. Forgot to get a fishing license? No worries. Head of the Lakes Resort also provides fishing licenses – we are your one-stop fishing shop.
We drill the holes and turn on the heat, then leave the fishing and catching up to you. At Head of the Lakes Resort, we place the fish houses in locations that we believe the fish bite best. Bring your deck of cards, your favorite beverages, a couple of friends, and get ready to enjoy some time away on Lake Osakis.
